DIY T-shirt

Today I’m going to show you how I turned my boring old t-shirt into a fashionable cropped tee! Keep reading to find out how I achieved this look and how it turned out!

1.) Step one is easy. You need to turn the T shirt face down so you can focus on the back. At this point you need to decide how short you want the t shirt to be. Then you need to begin cutting, starting at the seams as shown.

2.) Step two is simply cutting the whole back part off. You don’t need to be perfect with the scissors because personally I think it looks better when it’s abit skew-wiff.

3.) Next you need to turn your tshirt back over so you can work on the front. You need to cut straight up from the bottom to start making the knot.

4.) Cut out two triangles as shown in the picture. These two pieces left will be what is used in the knot. Again perfection isn’t necessary. The dodgier the better in my opinion? hash tag yolo.

5.) Finally, simply not the two triangles together in a normal knot and hey presto you’re done!

March Favourites!

Hey guys so it's a little late, we're almost half way through April, wow!
Let's get cracking

Carino Professional Miracle Oil with Argan Oil
I effing love this stuff! I apply a small amount to my hair when it's damp and it really is a miracle oil! It makes my hair feel super soft and hydrated. I tend to use this more so on my hair extensions as they need any oils they can get seeing as though they aren't attached to someones head! I use this usually once a week.

Naked 2 Palette
This was actually a new purchase I bought in March and it's already my favourite palette! I love all the colours and I really feel like it compliments my skin tone and eye colour. There is a variety of matte and shimmery shades and it is super pigmented! It also comes with a double ended brush which is fab.

Mellor & Russell Macadamia Oil
I actually bought this for 99p at B&M's haha. It's brilliant, it leaves my skin feeling so soft and moisturized. It soaks in instantly so there is no sticky feeling afterwards. Overall great for full body moisturizing and such a bargain at only 99p!

Maybellibe Baby Lips Lip Balm
I keep this in my handbag (check out my whats in my bag blog post) It leaves my lips feeling as soft as a babies bottom! It smells very nice too. Will definitely be purchasing more!

Topshop Lipstick in 'Petal'
this is a great day to day nude lipstick. It's alot more nude than I thought but that isn't a bad thing! I've been wearing this lipstick literally all the time, I love it so much. Topshop lipsticks are very pigmented and last all day. Great product and will be buying more!

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
This brush has been my favourite for several months now. I use it to apply my liquid foundation and it's brilliant! It leaves no streaky marks and doesn't soak up any product. It applies evenly for full coverage.

Batiste Dry Shampoo
I can't rave about this product enough. It's brilliant for blonde hair and for brunette hair too! It can turn greasy hair into volumised lucious locks! I love dry shampoo and tend to use it inbetween washes to freshen up my hair.

thanks for reading xx

Whats In My Bag?

My bag is my pride and joy, I'm actually in love with it. It was £30 from H&M, what a steal! The bag itself is black faux leather with tassles on the zips. It has two outside pockets and a smaller pocket inside where I keep personal things such as sanitary towels. Overall I'm very happy with this bag, it's gorgeous, practical and durable.
Now lets get cracking and see whats inside!

House of Fraser Portia Pink Purse
This purse is my baby. I got it from House of fraser for only 20 pounds, would you believe?! It has a cute little padlock on the front and has lots of room inside. It is real leather and I love it.

Ted Baker Makeup Bag
I like to keep all my makeup stored in my Muji Acrylic storage drawers, however, I find it useful to take a few cosmetics out with me while I'm out incase I need a touch up. Inside I keep cheap drugstore cosmetics that I don't mind getting lost or damaged.

Pen
You never know when you need a pen and I can't tell you how many times I've needed one whilst out and about! I should really keep a diary in my bag too but I'm too lazy to keep on top of a diary haha.

Soap & Glory Soft and Sexy Fragant Body Spray
This was actually a birthday gift off one of my lovely friends, it smells gorgeous and I love spraying it whilst I'm on the go to keep me smelling fresh! It's nearly run out though but I'll definitely be purchasing a new one.

Argan Oil Hand & Nail Cream
I like to keep my hands hydrated whilst I'm on the go, I don't want wrinkly old hands when I'm older! This leaves my hands feeling super soft and soaks in almost instantly. This was a steal at only 99p from B&M's.

Carex Hand Sanatizer
I'm a bus wanker and I like to keep my hands clean whenever I used public transport. This is also handy to use before eating and whenever you've touched something a million people have touched. This was a bargain at only 99p from Asda!

Mini Batiste Dry Shampoo
I'm a really big fan of batiste dry shampoo and when I saw the travel sized version in Asda, I just had to get it! It's brilliant to touch up your hair whilst on the go! Leaves your hear feeling super soft and smelling lovely.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm
This is my favourite product ever for my lips as it leaves them feeling so soft and moisturized! I like to carry this round with me because I get chapped lips very easily, especially in the crappy UK weather.

Mini Dove Deodrant
You never know when you're going to get sticky and sweaty so I love to carry round a small deodrant with me at all times. It smells nice and lasts all day!

Tangle Teezer
This isn't actually a real tangle teezer it's a knock off version from TK MAXX haha. I still love it though, it does the job and as an extensions wearer it's important to always carry a hair brush on you.

Mini Haul

Hey guys! Heres a few things I've treated myself too over the past few weeks :)

Naked 2 Palette
This palette is my new favourite palette ever! I've been after it for absolutely ages and I'm so happy I finally own it. It's a mix of matte and shimmer shades and comes with a double ended flat and blending brush.

Naked 3 Palette
I treated myself to this palette because it's new (ish) and I've heard lots of good things about it. I took the plunge and splurged and I'm pleasantly surprised. I was worried this palette would be too pink for me but it's perfect.

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish - Soft & Gentle
I've been searching everywhere for a good highlighter and I'm extremely glad I bit the bullet and bought this. It's fantastic for highlighting your cheek bones and brow bone! I'm in love with this product, it is so worth the money and I know it's going to last me ages.

MAC Eyeshadow - Charcoal Brown
This is my new favourite eyeshadow for my brows! Tanya Burr recently mentioned in one of her videos that this eyeshadow was perfect for brows, and she's right! It's the perfect ashy warm brown and matches my eyebrows perfectly.

MAC Lipstick - Saint Germain
This was actually a gift off my other half, he knew I'd been wanting this for ages and treated me! I'm very happy with this lipstick however I have found that it makes my teeth look alot more yellow than they actually are. hmm.

Ted Baker Makeup Bag
I saw Zoella has one of these makeup bags and I had to get one! It's a great size and fits perfectly in my handbag (keep your eyes peeled for a whats in my bag? video!). Its a gorgeous pale pink colour with a little bow on the front.

That's all the things I've bought these past few weeks!
Thanks for reading xoxo
